7 Day Golden Triangle Tour - Delhi Agra Jaipur Tour

We had an absolutely amazing trip with Joyful holidays. We had to rely on reviews when choosing this tour and I was so glad we believed the great reviews of Sonia’s company, it definitely exceeded our best expectations. Sonia took the time to meet us personally and kept in touch with us throughout the trip to ensure all was going well. It was obvious that she had carefully chosen hotels, driver and guides with excellent reputations. The tour was extremely well organised which made it easy and enjoyable to see so many sites in each city we went to. Our driver Shiva was fantastic, the best driver we could ever have asked for, we felt like we made a lovely new friend in India. He was so friendly, always in great humour and doing anything he could to help us. He had excellent English and great local knowledge to share. His car was in perfect condition, very comfortable with air con and bottled water. He was extremely professional, the trip went so smoothly because he always knew the best places to drop us at each site and was there waiting whenever we were ready to go to the next one, there was never any waiting around or long walks from the car. Anyone would be lucky to have him driving for their tour. The trip was very well planned, with plenty of time to see everything and also to take time to shop or rest. The hotels were very nice and comfortable and Shiva always knew good restaurants to stop for lunch or dinner en route. The tour guides were excellent, very knowledgeable and friendly with excellent English. I can’t believe how much we learnt about India and about the different sites in Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. I would highly recommend Joyful Holidays, Sonia and Shiva to anyone planning a trip to India. We had the best time and I would love to travel more with them in the future. Sonia’s story of starting a female led tour company is admirable and impressive and I wish her and her team great success.

My wife and I tasked Sonia of Joyful Holidays with the challenge of organizing a week-long trip to India’s Golden Triangle (New Dehli, Agra and Jaipur) that wouldn’t feel rushed. She did a wonderful job of organizing visits to the types of sites first-time India travelers would hope to see... and we still had a little time to breathe. We worked on a few versions of the itinerary until we arrived at one that exactly fit our requirements. Sonia was a delight to work with and was always at the ready to answer a question both before the trip and during it. We met Sonia in New Dehli and she was as lovely in person as she was through our e-mail correspondence. Her guides were also quite good, especially Sanjay in Jaipur. The accommodations were all quite nice and provided a wonderful respite after a long day of seeing the sites and negotiating the traffic. Speaking of which, travel in India is not as simple as other parts of the world and a great driver can make all the difference. We had one in Rajesh. He was knowledgeable, friendly, extremely service-oriented and drove like the car was an extension of his body (which is essential on India’s roadways!). He went out of his way to be available both for the standard itinerary and also for special circumstances like a last-minute trip to a fabric factory for a repair of a custom-made jacket. With people like Sonia, Sanjay and Rajesh, we felt well-taken care-of, learned a ton, and made new friends in India. Thanks, Joyful Holidays!

I booked a week trip with joyful (Sonia) and was very pleased with the result. We booked independently (not through TripAdvisor) and wanted to configure the trip in different ways to see sites that I felt would be more enjoyable for my family. The driver that was selected knew good English and was experienced driving around the places that we had to go (which is needed as roads in central cities are so narrow no car can rationally go down - so Google maps can lead you astray easily). We also liked the guides that Sonia hired - each again spoke good English and were knowledgeable about their respective cities. I would recommend Sonia and Joyful to all who are considering traveling in the region.
